| Summary |
|
Set in the early 20th century, this firefighting game has (with the
exception of the shooter lane/skill shot) an entirely symmetrical playfield
layout. There are no pop bumpers, but 3 solenoid controlled ramps (two on
the main orbit!) which
divert the balls into left or right lock, or into the burning
building. The game also has an interesting rotating light tube under the
playfield to create a burning building effect, 3 ball multiball, a big brass
bell that actually rings (LOUDLY!) on top of the backbox, and great ragtime
music.
Also produced were 273 "Champagne Edition" versions, which had
additional light tubes behind the backblass, brass trim and real wood on the
cabinet. "This FIRE is matchless!"
